There are two frame options for the Classic Panel. A beaded Frame Type (Code CPSBF) with a perforated flange to key into the surrounding membrane, used where the surface has yet to be finished. Or the Picture Frame Type (Code CPPF) where the solid 25mm flange sits on the surface of the wall or ceiling and covers the cut edge of the aperture, used where the surface has already been finished. (we only supply the CPPF, unless requested)

The Classic panel is available from stock with bespoke sizes made to order. It is always recommended that on longer doors, the panel is hinged on the length not on the short edge. Prepared openings should be a few milimeters larger than the dimensions of the hatch.

Panels are draught proofed but are uninsulated, if you required the door insulated, please slect the insulation option in the selection box.

The fire rating does not affect the appearance of the panel and the unique design enables panels to be fire rated without using heavyweight layers of plasterboard which effect performance. This enables the fire rated Classic Panel to be easier to use in ceilings where heavier panels can be dangerous to operate. This insulated, draught sealed loft access panel in robust white plastic.

Very flexible in both style and size. Sizes: SAN70A - 540 x 790, and the SAN70B - 580 x 1100

The hatch door is built on a wooden frame constructed of hard fibreboard sides and filled with insulation. They are delivered unpainted.

Used where a greater degree of insulation is needed. The smaller size is equipped with a recessed sealing lock while the larger size is equipped with an espagnolette lock. Both come with a detachable key/opening handle.

The hatches can be hung either to the right or left. They can also be used in ceilings as inspection hatches without a ladder.
