The Classic Loft Hatch Panel provides protected openings in ceilings and walls for access to building engineering services. The Loft Hatch door is finished in powder coated white and can be overpainted to blend with the surrounding surface. The larger fitting loft hatch panels have full length piano hinges with the smaller panels using the unique pivot pin plate hinges, and Catch Lock. The Classic loft hatch panel is a high quality robust solution suitable for everyday use with all the discrete advantages your client demands of an access panel.

There are two frame options for the Classic Panel. A beaded Frame Type (Code CPSBF) with a perforated flange to key into the surrounding membrane, used where the surface has yet to be finished. Or the Picture Frame Type (Code CPPF) where the solid 25mm flange sits on the surface of the wall or ceiling and covers the cut edge of the aperture, used where the surface has already been finished. (we only supply the CPPF, unless requested)
The Classic panel is available from stock with bespoke sizes made to measure. It is always recommended that on longer doors, the panel is hinged on the length not on the short edge. Prepared openings should be a few milimeters larger than the dimensions of the ladder hatch.
Panels are draught proofed but are uninsulated, if you required the door insulated, please slect the insulation option in the selection box.
